Simon Dolan – Chairman Jota Aviation 

Simon Dolan

Simon is a prominent British businessman and owns a number of different companies across a wide range of sectors, these include accountancy, employment services, publishing and aviation. Forever a lover of great motor cars, Simon initially discovered Motorsport first-hand when his wife purchased him a private coaching day at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground with professional racing driver Sam Hancock in 2007.This was Simons first ever track experience, after which he embarked on an intensive driver training programme with Sam,  achieving his goal of racing and winning at Le Mans. Simon then went on to founder Jota Aviation with current CEO Andy Green.

Andy Green – Chief Executive Officer

Andy Green Andy began his 30 year aviation career working the ramp as a teenager. Following on from this he gained his Private Pilot’s Licence and has 400 hours flying experience. He has held positions across Flights Operations and Commercial, which gave him the broad understanding of the many aspects of airline management. It was using this knowledge and insight that Andy found his way to the boardroom by setting up Jota Aviation in 2009, gaining a UK AOC in 2010 and now holds the position of CEO and Accountable Manager.

Kevin Callan – Chief Financial Officer

Kevin Callan Kevin has over 38 years of Finance and Commercial experience, in both the Public and Private Sectors, of which more than 30 years have been directly in the Aviation community, including passenger and cargo operations as well as business aviation in the UK and abroad. For more than 16 years Kevin held the position of CFO at UK airline Flightline and later with Air Slovakia and his own aviation consultancy. In 2012 he joined the Board of Hangar8 Plc in the role of CFO, and in 2014 played a significant role in the reverse takeover with Gama Aviation.

Luke Sutcliffe  – Chief Operating Officer

Luke SutcliffeLuke joined Jota as an Operations Controller in 2010 following  the successful completion of his degree in Aviation Technology from the University of Leeds. An avid flyer with a PPL, Luke completed his ATPL flight training in September 2014 before gaining his type rating on the King Air progressing from First Officer and then to Captain. Luke has held various positions with the Jota team heading up the successful implementation of Jota’s SMS programme as Safety Manager and then a CAA approved Form 4 holder Ground Operations Manager.  Luke is now type rated on the Avro RJ and actively flies as a current pilot.
