London Southend based Jota Aviation were proudly announced as this year’s winners of the ACA Best Cargo Operator 2019 during its annual Excellence Awards 2019 on the 16th of October. The annual awards were held at London’s famous Guildhall and continue to be a fantastic opportunity for many global members of the airline industry to meet and network.
Jota Aviation was pleased to win the award just one year on from the anniversary of their first cargo flight from London Southend to Liverpool John Lennon with their unique fleet of BAe 146-300 QT Freighters which were brought into service in October 2018. With a maximum payload of 12 tonnes and a large cargo door, they operate between a multitude of destinations, ranging from Europe and beyond, carrying a wide variety of freight from ready to eat Spanish omelettes, countless automotive spares to DJ sets. These aircraft fit the gap in the market perfectly between the ATR72 and the B737.
Jota is committed to delivering a bespoke and excellent service to each customer. One of the main advantages is that Jota can offer over their competition is flexibility and proven go-now capabilities including a 90-minute turnaround time from flight confirmation to departure. In addition to this, Jota is committed to making cargo chartering easier, with an experienced sales team providing a quotation within minutes of a request.
With a strong commitment to instilling safety and an outstanding track record of implementing safety and risk management systems Jota takes pride as an organisation in doing things ‘the right way’.
Andy Green, CEO at Jota Aviation, accepted the award and expressed his gratitude and recognition to all staff members at Jota Aviation. “Thank you for all your votes, especially to all those who have booked with us and allowed us to demonstrate our qualities and expertise in the constantly changing and challenging world of go-now cargo operations. We are elated to receive this prestigious award and be nominated for Best Passenger Charter Operator, narrowly missing out to Titan Airways. In the past twelve months, we have revisited our strategy to focus on cargo and passenger charters and it is an honour to be recognised by our peers. The adroit brokers have been fundamental to our success within the go now charter environment, however, it is salient that I express my gratitude to the whole Jota team who made this possible.”
Jota Aviation would like to take this opportunity to thank all employees for their hard work and dedication by committing to an excellent customer experience. Furthermore, to the companies who continue to support and work with us.
